Solderless Terminals are required for reliable connections and providing proper insulation in application where connections are in closed proximity. The special feature of our insulated terminals in that closer the connections the more reliable the insulation and the wires are less likely to splice. The plastic insulating sleeves simplify the fittings on to the conductor and the different colours denote the size of the cross sections. The dimensions of the cord end terminals correspond to DIN standards. We also have cord end terminals for special applications the twin series which allows two conductors to be compressed in our cord end terminals. Our entire series for cord end terminals is UL approved and work best in conjunction with our Crimping tools which provide the perfect crimping for the connection.
These terminals are available in different sizes from 0.25 sq.mm. to 50sq.mm pin Type, 050 to 16sq.mm twin type (Which allows two conductors to be compressed in one ferrule). Ring type insulated lugs are also available from 0.50 to 6sq.mm and mainly used in bolt connecting terminal blocks. In non insulated terminals the range comes from 05sq.mm to 150sq.mm of Ring, Spade, non insulated tubular lugs.
All these terminals are available in standard colours. There are three different standards, i.e. French, Din and German colours. The Funnel shape opening makes it easy to slip them on to the standard cable and ensures that the conductor is permanently connected to the cable by crimping.
Terminals are made of soft electrolytic copper with Tin plating are approved by various international standards like UL, VDE, CSA. These terminals are mainly used in field of mechanical and automotive engineering, electrical industry & panel building.
All the terminals are operated in the maximum temperature of 105 deg.C and the maximum voltage of 300V. The insulation of the material is Nylon which is higher quality material of PA6.
Crimping tools are available for crimping of the above terminals. There are different types of Crimping tools for different terminals for different sizes.
