| Job Description |
- Sales Dept.- Regional Field Engineers
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: |
- Meet/exceed territory sales quotas as established by the Sales Manager.
- Be proficient in BASE selling skills and implement to build strong customer relationships.
- Focus on the customer by averaging a minimum of 16 to 20 sales calls per week, with at least 50% to assigned accounts.
- Fully utilize Avenue as a communication, reporting, measurement and tracking tool to enhance productivity.
- Effectively communicate with the entire Trinity Touch team, both verbally and written.
- Be proficient in, and drive the use of all sales tools provided to support local markets.
- Consistently provide feedback to the field and Trinity Touch Delhi regarding territory requirements as it relates to personnel, product and/or market requirements.
- Work closely with Marketing to aid in the development of field presentations and application notes.
- Active involvement in industry related associations, as well as distributor, and customer events.
- Proactively utilize all resources and sales tools to maximize productivity, responsiveness and customer delight.
- Continue personal development through an effective skill building program as determined by the Sales Manager.
- Demonstrate technical competence on all products/solutions within area of focus.
- Provide forecasts and reports to Sales Manager.
- Develop and implement effective sales plans across a geographic territory as defined by Sales Manager.
- Independently and/or in conjunction with regional management, develop and implement effective Mutual Action Plans with assigned distributor locations.
- Work independently or in conjunction with regional management to plan, document, measure and grow assigned distributor locations.
- Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of Trinity Touch products, applications, and technology for the purpose of product sales.
- Where applicable, work with Key Account Management and Trinity Touch Marketing Department to implement global/national account strategies in order to achieve program objectives.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge on all Trinity Touch programs.
- Qualify and follow-up on all leads within assigned territory and/or account portfolio.
- Follow-up on all quotations within assigned territory and/or account portfolio.
- Drive value-added/custom solutions within assigned account base, comprised primarily of industrial OEMs, local end users and project business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Four-year degree.
- Technical discipline preferred and/or equivalent industrial/ electrical industry experience.
- 3 to 5 years' minimum sales experience in the electronics/electrical marketplace.
- Proficient with a computer and Windows based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with distribution preferred.
