REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Marketing Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement product marketing plans for product line(s).
Develop and implement new product releases and overall marketing plans.
Create and review press releases, advertising and campaigns within the areas of product responsibility; coordinated with the Communications Manager and Product Marketing Manager, in print and on the World Wide Web.
Assist the Marketing Manager in the implementation and coordination of marketing plans, policies, programs and sales efforts within the area of product responsibility for the Marketing Department.
Develop and coordinate trade show demos/designs.
Develop and implement the design/layout of product manuals, monthly newsletter(s) and trade journal articles within the area of product responsibility.
Develop, coordinate and implement field sales support programs and tools directed at distributors and representatives.
Assist field sales in development of strategic accounts.
Perform monthly sales figure analysis and reporting.
JOB FUNCTION MEASUREMENT:
Growth of product lines based on annual forecast.
Completion of quarterly objectives determined by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Engineering degree or equivalent technical work experience.
2 years sales and/or marketing experience in component Business or suitable alternative experience.
Technical knowledge of basic electricity & electronics.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
